The Treo 700wx, a Treo 700w fed well.
This report just in from audiofx81:
I happened to have liked my Verizon Treo 700w despite its relative lack of memory, and the thought of an improved version had me salivating. The hype surrounding the improved Treo 700wx has led to some disappointment now that I have one. The 700wx is missing a few of the speculated items we had heard about like threaded text messaging, MMS or picture mail, and SprintTV. Perhaps Sprint has not successfully programmed a version that will work under Windows Mobile 5. It does include Sprints On Demand service, but this is tempered by the relatively low resolution screen. I personally was never really big on photos and video on my devices. The 240×240 screen is sufficient for most applications, but after using devices with 320×320 and 320×240 screen the 240×240 kind of makes me wish for more. All in all, I am very satisfied with my 700wx. With the memory increase I can now multitask the way wm5 was designed to do. The Verizon Treo 700w adequately meets the demands of the business users and the improved Sprint Treo 700wx should keep the power users happy, or happy enough as power users are always wanting more and more out of devices. In my video http://www.ffrate.net/sprintwx.mp4 I have tested the 700wx with several programs open and the 700wx had plenty of ram to spare. If you were tempted by the Verizon Treo 700w, you will love Sprints Treo 700wx and the cheaper data plans. As a power user I find the overall performance of the Treo 700wx a close second to the powerful PPC6700, however the Treo 700wx does fit my personal needs better. The Treo 700wx is exactly what it claims to be, a Treo 700w with more memory so that it can play with the big boys on the Pocket-PC market.
