Comcast’s 6mb HSI not enough for you?

The new DOCSIS 3.0 spec is out and calls for 160mbps down and 120mbps upstream! This is quite crazy if you think about people used to get all jittery thinking about a T1 line to their home. A T1 is 1.544mbps… A T3 is made up of 28 T1’s… We are talking about 103 times a T1, or roughly 3.7 T3 lines! That is a INCREDIBLE amount of bandwith!
