Can I get your help, shadowmite? I’m trying to patch a file in my Treo 650’s ROM to get rid on the MSL (Sprint CDMA Version). I already found the file responsible for the routine, and the string which is called, but I have no idea on how to backtrace the OP code to NOP it…
It won’t do much good to NOP the routine because it needs to send AT commands to the modem to unlock the nvram sections. Without sending the code across the modem won’t accept the provisioning thats next.
