Keeping the spammers out
So it appears that the longer and longer this site stays up, the more it gets hit by spammer after spammer. They come and just hammer the various scripts trying to get in a few bits and pieces of their ad’s here and there. In case you haven’t noticed, we made some changes lately to the site in order to help counter-act this recent trend. (Take a look at the forum new-user registration now!). What other ways are there to fight spam? How do we make it so that it costs them money to try to hit us, rather than make them the money that justifies their behavior?
