Palm to launch Treo 680
Appearently palm is to launch the Treo 680 around the middle of next year. It’s a GSM only device which means “tuff luck” to the cdma guys (hey, we got the 700p and wx). The good news is it’s gonna be smaller (they say) and a whole lot cheaper… This could be the start of a pdaphone revolution if they play their cards right. A entry price at $199 will price this just as cheap as any normal phone people get which could increase the pdaphone market share considerably. We’ll have to see…
