Serial/usb "y" cable

Post by tarkwolf » Mon Jan 17, 2005 1:12 am

I have for my Treo 300/600 a USB/serial "y" cable. I got it on ebay. It is very useful for Wirelessmodem. As it allows a Windows user to use Wmodem and keep the treo charged at the same time. Is it possible you can make on for the Treo 650?

In theory you could do this, idk of any site that sells them though. You would just have to add a USB dongle with nothing but + and -, then tie them to the serial cable. But idk if this has to be done before or after the Serial/USB chip.

Shouldn't it just be a change in the connector that plugs into the phone?
